KEYSTONE VACUUM

Keystone Vacuum is a family-owned and operated vacuum store serving all of Western PA. In January 2023, Cindy and Evan Strittmatter, a mother and son team, opened Keystone Vacuum in the space formerly occupied for 30-years by Sweeper City. Sweeper City was a beloved destination for all things vacuum-related and after it's owner's passing, Cindy and Evan wanted to keep a vacuum store in this spot to continue serving the people of Butler and the surround communities.

Keystone Vacuum is Cindy and Evan's 3rd vacuum store, with their other stores, Indiana Vac and Pittsburgh Central Vacuum serving the Indiana and Pittsburgh communities. Keystone Vacuum will be offering all of the same products and services as Sweeper City, and plans are in place to expand the product offerings even further. OUR STORY

Cindy and Evan Strittmatter got their start in the vacuum industry when Evan was just an infant. From a very young age, Evan showed an intense interest in vacuum cleaners. His amazingly supportive parents Mark and Cindy nurtured this interest and pushed him to learn more about his interests. In 2012, Cindy and Evan purchased Indiana Vac, located in Indiana, PA. Then in 2015, after an increasingly growing demand for a central vacuum installation/service company in the Pittsburgh Region, Cindy and Evan expanded into the Pittsburgh market with Pittsburgh Central Vacuum. In late 2022, after the tragic passing of Sweeper CIty's former owner and the store was closed, Cindy and Evan laid the groundwork to open a new vacuum store in the former Sweeper City space. In January 2023, Keystone Vacuum was born.
